Nina Soyanova

Nina Stoyanova is Deputy Governor in charge of the Banking Department and the Fiscal Services Department and member of the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank elected by the 43rd National Assembly on July 29th 2015 for a six-year term of office. Her previous experience is including: Chief Legal, Director of the Legal Directorate of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) from 2007 to 2015, Member of the Legal Committee of the European System of Central Banks; Legal Advisor at the European Central Bank from September to December 2006. From 1999 to 2006 Nina Stoyanova is Senior Legal Advisor, BNB Legal Directorate and from 1994 to 1999 is Legal adviser at the same directorate. She is Master of Law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.


Eva Maydell

Eva Maydell´s priorities focus on enhancing skills-creation and the use of innovation and technologies, supporting entrepreneurs and investments in Europe. She is Vice-President of European Movement International, Vice-President of SME Europe, and co-founder of Education Bulgaria 2030.

In the European Parliament, she is a member of the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee, and the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee. She works on key files for the Digital Single Market Strategy, FinTech and the Juncker plan for investment in Europe.

The Financial Times included Eva in the „New Europe 100“, the ranking of CEE´s brightest and best people. She is also part of the European Forbes 30 under 30 list. In 2017 Eva was awarded best MEP for 2017 in the category of new technologies having previously won the MEP award for best newcomer in 2015.


Georgi Konov

Georgi Konov is a junior partner in McKinsey & Company’s Dubai Office.

Since joining the firm in 2007, he has focused on Banking across Central and Eastern Europe (Russia, Ukrain, Balkans, Central Europe) and Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar).
Georgi Mainly focuses on retail banking (marketing and sales, risk, distribution and technology), wealth and asset management (from large international players to small boutiques) and digital (process digitization, fintechs and advanced analytics) . Georgi is the leader of the retail banking and wealth management service line for the Middle East.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Georgi studied Business Administration and Economics at the American University in Bulgaria.


Peter Andronov

Chairman of the Country Team of KBC Group for Bulgaria, Country Manager of KBC group for Bulgaria, Chairman of the MB of CIBANK, CEO of CIBANK.

Peter Andronov was appointed as Executive Director of CIBANK in 2007. In 2008 hе became CEO and since 2011 he has been Country Manager of KBC group for Bulgaria. Since 2008 he has also been a member of the MB of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria and its representative in the Banking Supervisory Committee at the European Banking Association. Before his appointment in CIBANK, Mr. Andronov took a number of positions in the private banking sector and in the Bulgarian National Bank. He served from 2002 to 2007 as Chief Director of the Banking Supervision Department at BNB. From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the Management Board of the Reserve Guarantee Fund. He has also been a member of the Investment Committee of BNB. During the period 2005 – 2007 he was an observer and member of the European Banking Committee (EBC) and the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) at the European Commission. During the same period he was an observer and member of the Banking Supervision Committee (BSC) at the European Central Bank. Mr. Andronov has participated in the working out of the present banking supervisory legislation framework in Bulgaria, incl. the Law on Credit Institutions, the Law on the Supplementary Supervision of Financial Conglomerates, supervisory ordinances of BNB, etc. Peter Andronov has a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia(UNWE). Since 1995 he has lectured at the UNWE, at the Higher School of Insurance and Finance and at the New Bulgarian University /International Banking Institute – subjects taught – “Introduction to Finance” and “Banking Regulation”.


Levon Hampartzoumian

CEO and Chairman of MB of UniCredit Bulbank.

Levon Hampartzoumian has stood at the head of UniCredit Bulbank since 2001. He is also Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of banks in Bulgaria and Member of the Management Board of BORIKA. He is a non-executive member of the Board of the Institute for Market Economy. During 1999-2001 he was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sofia University. He is awarded with the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity (Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana) and is honoured with the title Commendatore by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano in 2008. In 2007 he was awarded by “Atanas Bourov” Foundation for bank management. Levon Hampartzoumian is also announced “Banker of the year” twice – by Finance Central Europe magazine in 2005 and by Banker weekly in 2007. In 2012 Manager Magazine awarded him the prize “Manager of the year”. Levon Hampartzoumian has a degree in Chemical Engineering and professional experience working for PriceWaterHouse Coopers and Earnst&Young. During 1999-2001 he was consecutively Deputy Minister of Economy and Executive Director of Sofia’s Privatization Agency.


Petia Dimitrova

Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank.

In 2003 she joined the team of Postbank as Country CFO for the 8 affiliated companies of Eurobank EFG Group in Bulgaria. She graduated from the University of National and World Economy and Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski with two Master Degrees in Finance and Banking and Tourism. She has acquired variety of professional qualifications in UK, Greece, Holland, Belgium, USA and Bulgaria. She is a Member of the Management Boards of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists in Bulgaria, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, the American University in Bulgaria, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in London, UK and the CFOs Club in Bulgaria.
She has received numerous national and international awards.


Diana Miteva

Ms. Diana Miteva is a Management Board member and an Executive Director of DSK Bank.
After graduating the English Language School in Plovdiv, Mrs. Miteva continued her education at the University of National and World Economy, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Macroeconomics (1989). She is fluent in English and speaks Russian.
Since October 2003 Mrs. Miteva has been a member of the Management Board and Executive Director of DSK Bank. She started her banking career at Xios Bank (1993-1994), continued later at ING Bank, Sofia Branch as Director of Financial Control and Deputy Executive Director (1994-1999) and joined the team of Demirbank-Bulgaria AD as Director of Financial Control and Senior Manager of Marketing, Credit and Business Development (1999-2002). At Demirbank Bulgaria AD she became a member of the Management Board and an Executive Director (January 2002 – 2003).
In November 2011, Mrs. Diana Miteva was awarded the prestigious Hungarian award „Andras Fai“ as recognition of her successful work and results in the implementation and promotion of DSK Bank’s Private Banking project. At the end of January 2014 Mrs. Miteva was presented with the 2013 Atanas Burov Award for Banking Management.

Svetoslav Moldovanski

Svetoslav Moldovanski, Chief Operating Officer, Member of the MB and Executive Director of Fibank
Svetoslav Moldovanski is FIBank’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the Management Board and an Executive Director, responsible for the development and maintenance of the technology platform which the bank uses to provide services to its clients. Major projects he was responsible for include technological integration of Fibank and Unionbank,  updating of the bank’s card systems and processing of bank cards issuance and acceptance at the bank’s processing centre, migration of OLTP Oracle databases from an Itanium platform to Oracle Exadata without workflow interruption, banking systems migration to Oracle FLEXCUBE. Before joining Fibank, Svetoslav Moldovanski has worked as a consultant and auditor for KPMG and Deloitte.


Miroslav Vichev

Miroslav Vichev is Chief Executive Officer of Borika-Bankservice payment and card operator. He has over 25 years’ experience in the field of information technologies in the banking sector.

Prior to joining the company, he has served a number of leadership positions: Head of Applied Systems at Bulgarian Post Bank, Senior Manager of Management Consulting and IT at Deloitte & Touche, Head of the Consulting Department at Microsoft Bulgaria and Consultant on the selection of the RINGS system to the BNB, Director of Information Technologies at Biochim CB, Executive Director of DSK Bank. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of DSK Rodina pension company, a member of the Board of Directors of the Cash Services Company and a member of the Board of Directors of OTP Bank (Russia), Deputy CEO of OTP Bank (Hungary) and Chief Information Officer of the Banking Group. He has graduated the Technical University of Sofia.


Iravan Hira

Managing Director, Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Iravan Hira is Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Bulgaria and HP Global Delivery Bulgaria Center for more than six years. Under the leadership of Iravan Hira HP in Bulgaria is the ultimate leader in the IT sector in the country and achieves markets results which take the Bulgarian branch of the company to the leading position in Eastern Europe.
HP Global Delivery Bulgaria Center is the biggest employer in the IT industry in the country with more than 6000 highly qualified employees and export of services worth of BGN 260 million in 2014.
Hira has worked in HP Bulgaria since the establishment of the company in the country in 1998 and has held various sales and management positions. He has special expertise in the field of telecommunications and business management. For high professional successes was honored twice with membership in the „Achievers Club“ of global HP company.
Among the priorities of Hira are strengthening the leadership of HP in Bulgaria, the introduction of technological innovations for sustainable economic growth, development and promotion of corporate social responsibility as an important public function of companies and encouragement of entrepreneurship in IT in the country. Because of its active work in these areas Iravan Hira was elected as Chairman of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum in 2013.
Iravan Hira holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Technical University in Sofia.


Kalin Radev

Kalin Radev has over 20-years of experience in the field of information and communication technologies at the banking sector, occupying managerial positions at business consulting and IT implementations area for corporate and non-governmental organizations in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific region. Some of the most popular customers that Mr. Radev has worked for are USAID, World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), World Bank, Opportunity International, etc. He established Software Group BG in 2009 г. and since then he is executive director of the company, which is specialized in in the area of alternative delivery channels for financial services. At the moment Software Group BG has global presence in six continents and its portfolio includes projects for over 150 customers in 60 countries, as among the most famous are Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, IFC, Bank of South Pacific, etc.

Sophie Bertin

Mrs. Sophie Bertin is the founder and Executive Director of Parnima Consulting, Switzerland. Previously, she has worked for SIX Group, Switzerland, a global financial services provider (exchange, all securities related transactions, payment systems and financial information) serving a wide range of Swiss and international clients. Before joining SIX Group, she has worked at key positions at The Bank of New York, SWIFT, McKinsey, Bain, and the European Commission. She has an MBA diploma from INSEAD

Hristo Laskov

Hristo Laskov is Strategic Director of Publicis Modem Cybermark and longtime journalist in the field of information technologies and Mergers & Acquisitions market in Bulgaria. Unrealized BA, major Modern Greek Philology at Sofia University, he graduated Finance at UNWE. The main focus of his activity is the positioning of Publicis Modem Cybermark customers in digital environment – strategic planning and online channels presence for promotion of products and services of brands like Renault, Dacia, DSK Bank, Nescaf, etc

Loic Le Pichoux

Loic Le Pichoux is CEO and Co-Founder of Klear, the first Peer-to-Peer Lending platform in Bulgaria.
Loic brings in 20 years of experience in BNP Paribas Personal Finance, having occupied various C-Executive positions in this international group. He was CEO of BNP Paribas Personal Finance in Bulgaria just before creating Klear with a team of experienced professionals having previously worked with him.
Loic is now focused on developing Klear as the Prime Peer-to-Peer Lender in Bulgaria and preparing its expansion in CEE, starting soon with Poland.

Vanya Manova

MasterCard’s manager for Bulgaria and Macedonia.

Ms Manova joined MasterCard in 2008 as Relationship Manager. In recent years she headed the subsidiary in Bulgaria and helps MasterCard’s positioning as a strategic partner of key customers, non-traditional partners and local government institutions and regulatory authorities. Ms Manova launched and work for the growth of contactless payments in Bulgaria and Macedonia, an area where MasterCard is the undisputed leader in both markets.

Vanya Manova worked in the banking industry for 20 years. It began in 1995 as a system administrator at the Bulgarian-Russian Investment Bank (current CIBank). Before joining MasterCard, she was Director „Bank cards“ in DZI Bank (later merged with Postbank). She graduated from the Sofia High School of Mathematics (SMG) and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the „Technical University“ in Sofia. Vanya has three children.


Russell Taylor

Russell carries extensive specific industry knowledge of micro-banking, SME, and niche players who offer solutions to expand access to technology and services in mass markets. Prior to joining Software Group, Mr. Taylor was the President and Regional Director for North America in TEMENOS, that included driving two successful acquisitions in the United States, increasing the product portfolio and reach. In total he spent a total of 14 years at Temenos in different leadership roles in different geographies. Mr. Taylor also was Vice President for SAP’s Financial Services and Healthcare business, and worked for Standard Bank of South Africa and Telkom in various leadership positions.

Stoilka Arsova

Stoilka Arsova is the Head of the National Card Scheme, BORICA. She has over 15 years’ experience in the banking sector in the field of electronic and card payments. Her career started at Roseximbank in 2001 and later at the DZI Bank Card Centre where she worked as a Head of Card Business Development.

After the merger with Postbank, Mrs. Arsova is Head of „Alternative Distribution Channels“ and „Debit Cards“ where major projects that she managed include: development of electronic payment channels, management of new business lines and reorganization of debit card activities and ATMs after the merger of the two banks. In 2014 she joined the BORICA – BANKSERVICE AD team, where she headed the newly created „National Card Scheme“ unit. The task of the unit is to develop rules and new business models to promote the introduction on the market of an entirely Bulgarian payment card with the Bcard logo with new services and transactions of national importance.


Maria Kosanova

Maria Kosanova, HPE Pointnext Manager for Bulgaria
Maria Kosanova is working at Hewlett Packard Enterprise since 2009 year, starting as Partner Business Manager in Imaging and Printing Group (IPG). From 2014, she starts leading the Technology Services department in Bulgaria – HPE Pointnext. Her experience is mainly in sales area, with key focus on developing new solutions, which help the customers to optimize their IT environment.


Vladislav Dramaliev

Vladislav Dramaliev is the director of the Bithope Foundation, whose main goal is to popularize and encourage the use of cryptocurrencies. The primary tool for achieving this goal is, a internet site supporting NGOs through Bitcoin Donations. Vladislav is the founder of,, Co-founder of Sofia Crypto Meetup, a monthly meeting of blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts and professionals in Bulgaria. He is a Marketing and Society Manager at the æternity blockchain project, marketing expert, and member of Mensa.

Nadezhda Vicheva

Nadezhda Vicheva is the manager of the Department of Analysis and Customer Relations Management (CRM) of UniCredit Bulbank AD since the beginning of 2012. She started her career at the bank in 2004 as a Public Relations Expert, and since then has held various positions, including Segment Manager and Sales Management in Retail Banking Expert. During the merger process of UniCredit and Bank Austria in Bulgaria, she manages the coordination team of the integration activities. Nadezhda Vicheva manages and coordinates the implementation of a complete CRM solution in Retail Banking, and she is currently working actively on introducing new big data technologies and machine learning algorithms for analysing customer behaviour. She has Master’s degrees in Public Relations and Business Administration from Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski „.


Angel Mateev

Angel Mateev is Deputy Head of Retail Banking Department at Postbank, where he has been working for more than 13 years. His responsibilities cover the entire spectrum of Retail Banking – Branch Network, Small Business Banking, Individual and Wealthy Clients.

His banking career started 19 years ago and he has taken various managerial positions through his professional career – Branch Manager, Regional Manager, Head of Small Business Banking Department. He has a Master’s degree in Macroeconomics at Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski „.


Ilian Georgiev

Ilian Georgiev was elected member of the Management Board of BACB on December 14, 2011, based on decision of the Supervisory board. On Sptember 10, 2013 Mr. Georgiev was appointed Executive Director of the bank. Before joining the leading team of BACB, Ilian Georgiev was Head of Large Corporate Banking and Deputy Head of Corporate Banking at Eurobank EFG Bulgaria AD (Postbank). From September 2003 to November 2005 he lead the Large Corporate Banking Department at Postbank. During the period April 1998 – August 2003, Ilian Georgiev worked for Economic and Investment Bank AD, where he was appointed Head of Corporate Loans in 2001. Mr. Georgiev has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy, Subject: Accounting and Control.

Dr. Deyan Palezhev

Dr. Deyan Palezhev is Head of Data Analysis Centre of KBC Bulgaria since 2015. He holds a PhD in Statistics, 2006 and is Associate Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Prof. Valentin Kisimov

Prof. Dr.Sc(Econ) Valentin Kisimov is Director of the Center for Computer Innovative Systems to the University of National and World Economy, IBM Certified Consultant.

He has created a complete e-management of a university in Bulgaria and the first e-tests at university, eliminating various influences and non-individual input. He has created a Training Social Network for Universities and a number of integrated solutions of a University System to Microsoft Cloud. He has worked for 17 years in South Africa as a lecturer at the WITS – Johannesburg University, Head of Network Consulting at IBM South Africa, Head of integrated solutions for national and international projects at T-Systems South Africa, Head of numerous projects on banking and e-governance in South Africa, Head of Research Lab for New Information Security Solutions with the participation of IBM, Cisco, T-Systems, University of Johannesburg and University of Cape Town. He is the leading architect of the T-Systems MPLS network in South Africa.



Delyan Petrishki

Delyan Petrishki began his journalistic career in 2005 at The Banker newspaper.

During the last eight years he has been following the news of Bulgarian and international capital markets – stock exchanges, commodity markets, currency changes. Prior to joining Bulgaria ON AIR in 2011, Delyan Petrishki has worked at specialized financial media, including as Deputy Editor-in-Chief. He has specialized at the Bulgarian section of Deutsche Welle. He is the winner of two awards from the „AAA Journalists Club“ for his publications. He holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the European Studies Department of the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. He has also graduated a Master’s Degree Program in Journalism at the Sofia University. At Bloomberg TV Bulgaria Delyan Petrishki, together with Veronica Denizovata and Nikolay Krastev, is host of the „In development“ program every weekday from 12 to 14 and from 18 to 20 hours.
